What Upreps is
An alarm clock that keeps the snooze locked until you complete a short physical mission, recorded on your own phone. Setting alarms, all missions, your recording and your streak are free. A subscription adds unlimited alarms, automatic AI verification, full history, and your own targets and affirmations.
Health and safety
Upreps is not a medical device and gives no medical advice. Exercise carries risk, and doing it moments after waking carries more. Talk to a doctor before you start if you have any injury, heart or blood-pressure condition, are pregnant, or are unsure. Stop if something hurts. Set a target you can complete safely half asleep, and clear the space around you first. You take part at your own risk.
Do not rely on it alone
Upreps uses the alarm facilities iOS provides, which are reliable but not guaranteed. A discharged battery, a powered-off phone, a system fault or a withdrawn permission will stop an alarm from ringing. For anything where missing a wake-up has real consequences, set a second, independent alarm. We are not liable for a missed alarm.
Verification
Automatic verification is a judgement made by a model looking at frames of your recording, and it will sometimes be wrong. The app is deliberately built to err towards accepting a genuine effort rather than rejecting it. Where verification cannot decide, you can confirm the morning yourself.
Subscription and cancellation
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, in Settings under Manage subscription or in the App Store. Any free trial is offered once per Apple ID and converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us.
Fair use
Do not use Upreps to record anyone who has not agreed to it, and do not try to defeat the verification to inflate a shared streak. Accounts that do are not something we can police from a device, but the streak stops meaning anything the moment you do.
Liability
Upreps is provided as it is. To the extent Belgian law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited.
Governing law
Belgian law applies, and the courts of Belgium have jurisdiction — without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
